The Arena is the competitive endgame: you fight other players' arena teams asynchronously and climb the arena ladder. Every player with an arena team holds a fixed rank on it.
Unlocked from Chapter 2. The arena is split into tabs: Battles, Arena team, Monthly reward, Ranking, History, Marks shop and Rules.
Your arena team
In the Arena team tab you field up to five Mebulis that attack for you and defend your rank in the arena.
- This team is independent of your active team. You can switch your active team for story, hard missions or quests at any time without changing your arena team.
- Your arena Mebulis may be training in the Resonance Chamber or away on a quest and still fight in the arena.
- The Mebuli list has a name search and is split into pages.
- The front row (slots 1–3) stands in front, the back row (slots 4–5) behind.
- At most one Mebuli with Rally per team.
Jewelry in the arena team
When you save, the arena team remembers which piece of jewelry sits on which Mebuli. It fights with exactly that jewelry, even if you equip the pieces elsewhere afterwards. If you upgrade a piece, the new level applies right away. If you dismantle it, it is missing from the arena team.
- The jewelry view in the Arena team tab shows this saved jewelry. It cannot be changed there: equip the jewelry in Equipment and save the arena team again.
- Storage, the marketplace and the item window warn you when a piece is used in the arena team.
- If a jewelry slot in the arena team is empty and matching jewelry is in Storage, you get a system mail once a day.
The arena ladder
- New players in the arena start on the last rank.
- The Battles tab lists the players up to 10 ranks above you. Only those can be attacked. Rank 1 has no opponents above.
- Win: you swap ranks with your opponent.
- Loss: your rank stays.
- Ranks carry over past the end of the month.
How it works
- Set up your team in the Arena team tab and save it. It is also your defense.
- In the Battles tab pick an opponent above you and hit Attack.
- The battle runs automatically. Your arena team fights with rows and ultimates, but without your input. Your line-up is frozen when the battle starts. Anything you change afterwards only counts in the next battle.
An attempt counts as soon as the battle starts. If you leave a running battle, the attempt is still gone.
You get 5 attempts per day (reset at midnight German time). Mebula Plus members get one extra attempt every day, and VIP level 3 and VIP level 6 add one more each. If that's not enough, you can buy up to 5 more attempts a day with gems (20 gems, then 40, 60 and so on).
Leagues
Your league follows from your rank relative to all ranks:
| League | Ranks |
|---|---|
| top 5 % | |
| up to 15 % | |
| up to 35 % | |
| up to 55 % | |
| up to 80 % | |
| rest |
Monthly reward
At the end of the month you get a reward based on your rank. It requires at least 5 battles in the month. You claim it in the Monthly reward tab, which also shows the history of the last 12 months.
| Rank | |||
|---|---|---|---|
| Rank 1 | 1000 | 1600 | 120 |
| Rank 2–3 | 800 | 1300 | 100 |
| Master | 600 | 1000 | 80 |
| Diamond | 400 | 700 | 55 |
| Platinum | 260 | 450 | 35 |
| Gold | 170 | 300 | 25 |
| Silver | 100 | 180 | 15 |
| Bronze | 50 | 90 | 8 |
Ranking
The Ranking tab shows the whole ladder by rank, in pages of 20 ranks.
History
In the History tab you see your attacks and your defense of the last 7 days. You can replay every battle with Watch.
When another player attacks you, your arena team automatically defends, even while you're offline. For every defense that holds you earn arena marks, credited the next time you open the arena.
Rewards per battle
- Win: 12
Arena Marks - Loss: 3
Arena Marks - Defense held: 6
Arena Marks
Every arena battle also grants 10 player XP, win or lose.
Arena shop
Spend your Arena Marks in the Marks shop tab or in the Shop with the Mark Traders:
| Offer | Cost |
|---|---|
| 30 |
50 |
| 1 |

Why arena battles always run automatically
Otherwise a present attacker could steer while the absent defender could not. That is why only your line-up counts: team, levels, ultimates and gear.
